Fueling Innovation
We are a student run team based at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Canada. We design, build and launch rockets with innovative payloads. Recently, we won 3rd place in Basic Category (solid rockets) and 1st in the Payload Challenge at the Launch Canada competition! We are now working on building an improved solid rocket for 2026 competitions and developing a hybrid rocket for the future.

Luminis V2 marks McMaster Rocketry's fourth high-power rocket and its first nominal flight! Launched on August 21, 2024, at the third annual Launch Canada, Luminis V2 soared to 10,456 feet and reached a maximum speed of 289.1 m/s. After a smooth descent with both its drogue and main parachutes, the rocket was safely recovered by our competition team.
